WE ARE HARLOTTSHarlotts is a group of young musicians from Aurora, CO that have been playing music together since the summer of 2019. We have a wide range of influences, from the Hendrix Band of Gypsys to Casiopea, and are bringing our own sensibility and sound to the Colorado music scene. We're interested in creating original and inventive music, expressing our beliefs on the state of the world and the hardships that young people face in life through music that ranges from mellow and introspective to exciting and raucous. Our music can be best classified as psychedelic and alternative rock.

We have an entirely DIY approach, recording with all our own gear and in our own self funded home studio. Our band consists of Juan Barrera-Pacheco (20) on guitar and vocals, Alexis Bishop (22) on bass and vocals, Tyrome Crawford (20) on drums, and Trenton Dearman (21) on keyboards. We have all progressed significantly since first meeting and playing together in high school, as songwriters, as performers, and as friends in general. Harlotts have performed four shows as of far, two in July of 2023 at the Aurora Municipal Building for the 7/20 Memorial and at Vision Quest Brewery, as well as two backyard DIY shows in October of 2021 and May of 2022.

Our band is unique in the fact that we try to explore what we can do with music without limiting ourselves to just one genre or style. Since all of us have very rich and unique musical influences, our tastes come together to create a very sophisticated sound. We also try to bring an exceptional sense of showmanship to the stage, interacting with the crowd and keeping the energy going.

Although we do play covers here and there, we tend to focus on our own original music. Each one of us contributes to the creation of a song, and we are constantly creating new things to share with the world. We are working on recording our second studio album, and with the knowledge and experience we have gained over the past few years, we anticipate it will be even better than our first album.
