JUAN BARRERA-PACHECOI was always interested in music at an early age but never picked up a guitar until I was about 15. My brother who's currently in a heavy metal band introduced me to heavy metal and punk music when I was 10. He showed me long compositions of music and various bands like Helloween, Metallica, and the Sex Pistols. I became infatuated with heavy metal songs consisting of long jams, unsolicited key changes, and flashy guitar playing. As I grew older I noticed myself going through different phases of music, like 80’s Funk, 90’s Metal and Japanese CityPop; All of which are the roots of my playing style. When I first started playing guitar, my cousin Daniel, and I would compete with each other and see who could play the most Red Hot Chili Pepper songs. Since then I’ve practiced everyday, looking up to legends like Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix, and John Frusciante. Everything I play is rooted back to what I always liked the most of the musicians listed above. Soulful, heavy, and rude guitar playing. I always play what makes me feel the best, and hope that people can feel what I feel through my playing.

ALEXIS BISHOPMy interest in music began around the age of ten, after listening to The Beatles’ ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ and knowing my father had been a musician since the early 80’s. A few years later I had discovered and fallen in love with Pink Floyd, and the passing of my mother in 2013 fully motivated me to dedicate my life to the most beautiful form of art a human can create; music. Since picking up the electric bass guitar (and initially the upright bass in 6th grade), I have continuously furthered my musical vocabulary by taking inspiration from legendary bassists like Roger Waters of Pink Floyd, Chris Squire of Yes, John Entwistle of The Who, Larry Graham, Louis Johnson, Bootsy Collins, etc, and listening to more styles and genres of music than I could recall here. I’m currently involved in a couple projects, and through the years I’ve delved into responsibilities beyond playing my instrument, such as acquiring the gear and some of the knowledge necessary to record music and utilizing my organization skills to punctually plan out, set up, and hook up equipment for live shows. I’m also very passionate about filming our jams and shows as often as possible, and tend to favor vintage VHS and HI-8 cameras when possible, in order to create a unique aesthetic for the band in the era of smartphones.

Tyrome CrawfordI was exposed to music since the age of 7 from my father. My dad has DJ’d for my entire life which exposed me to a lot of different genres of music. My passion for music grew fast from then on, starting from watching videos on people drumming at church to drumming in the youth choir at Tabernacle Baptist Church starting at the age of 10. Later got into the school band in middle school which taught me many ways to grow as a drummer & helps me to this day to continuously help motivate the band & others.

Trenton DearmanI’ve been listening to music and playing keys since I was a child. I would fiddle around with electric keyboards and try to learn how to play on my own. When I started high school, I began trying to compose music on my PC. I began releasing music in 2020 under the name “Killerguate”, and so far I’ve released two albums and two singles. My taste in music is very broad and I enjoy all kinds of music; a few of my biggest musical inspirations are Roger Troutman, Frank Zappa, Todd Rundgren, and Russ Freeman. My interest leans toward electronic instruments, and I tend to lean towards vintage gear. I utilize a rotation of MIDI sound modules as well as a Fender Rhodes and a Kimball organ (and occasionally an accordion!). Playing live music is one of the greatest joys in my life, and I’m lucky to be able to play alongside great musicians who also happen to be great people.
